The body of this Queen Triggerfish is stone, the fins and tail are made from aluminum, molded, and attached to the stone with epoxy, sculpting was then added to give them a more fluid effect, then painted. The stand is hand sculpted of clay to resemble coral. This is where the "Queen" lays in wait for her prey, hence the eyes on top of her head. It was then baked, painted and the whole piece was baked again. It was made for a girl in California who inspired me to keep going till I got it the way it ought to be! This is my favorite piece so far, but then things are ever changing!
